Physical Therapy in Salem, OR
If you have a body, you’re an athlete — and we’re here to help active people stay active. At The Physical Therapy Project in Salem, you’ll work directly with board-certified physical therapists who have advanced certifications, not PT aides or assistants. We’re the official physical therapy provider for Salem’s professional athletes, and we’re ready to help you recover, strengthen, and optimize.
You’re Tired of PT That Doesn’t Match Your Goals
You’ve been to physical therapy before, and you know the routine: a quick eval with the actual therapist, then you’re handed off to an aide to supervise exercises. Your treatment is dictated by insurance benefits, not what you actually need. You’re ready for something better.

Your PT sessions are controlled by insurance, not your needs
You get 15 minutes here, 20 minutes there — whatever your insurance approves. Your therapist can’t give you what you need because they’re constrained by what insurance will cover. You deserve treatment determined by your goals, not your benefits.
You’re passed off to aides instead of working with the actual therapist
You pay for physical therapy, but most of your time is spent with assistants and aides while the therapist bounces between multiple patients. You need hands-on treatment from a skilled, board-certified physical therapist who actually understands your sport or activity. You’re wondering if you’ll have to live with this pain forever
You’ve tried PT before and the pain keeps coming back. You’re starting to lose confidence that you’ll ever feel strong and capable again. You need a systematic plan that addresses the root cause and gives you long-term solutions, not temporary fixes.

Redefining the Physical Therapy Experience in Salem
The Physical Therapy Project was founded to challenge the status quo and redefine what physical therapy should be. We believe PT should be performed by skilled physical therapists with advanced certifications — not aides or assistants. Your treatment should be determined solely by your needs and your goals, not by insurance benefits.
That’s why we’re the back-to-back-to-back winners of Best of the Willamette Valley for Physical Therapy and the 2024 winner for Specialty Therapy. We’re trusted by Salem Capitals Professional Basketball, the Oregon Blackbears Arena League Football, and Corban University Athletics. If the pros trust us, you can too.

“Can’t recommend them enough! I worked personally with Jon. I went in with knee pain before a marathon and he was able to work on the leg and give corrective exercises to get me back to training immediately. Because he works directly with athletes and is one himself, his knowledge and help goes beyond that of other PTs who just have the education. Experience is what makes them stand out.”
